1, Ensure PROPER STARTUP PROCEDURES:
If you do not follow these correctly when you plug in your smartwasher, the unit
will not function properly.
1. Unplug / replug SmartWasher.
2. Press the RESET button on GFCI plug.
3. Press the ‘Standby/Ready’ button FIRST
4. If you press any other button first, unplug and start over.
------------
A great percentage of the time, the issue will be the pump over
the control panel. If the machine simply 'quick pumping' you may replace the
pump. If you have seen issues such as 'delay in the pump flow after they turned
on the pump', 'comes on and goes off', or something of similar issues go through the ts guide to check the control
panel:
NOTE THAT YOU WILL NEED TO CHECK THESE PARTS WITH THE
UNIT PLUGGED IN; USE CAUTION WITH HIGH VOLTAGE!
Checking
the Control Panel:
Remove the four screws from the
control panel and lower panel. Disconnect pump wires where control panel is
labeled ‘pump’. Plug in machine, press ‘Standby/Ready’, then
press ‘Continuous Flow’. Place voltmeter test leads on the pump
terminals on the control panel. With the ‘Continuous Flow’ button ON you should
get a reading of approximately 110v to 120v. If you get this reading, replace pump. If
not, there is no power being sent to the pump so you will need to replace the
control panel.
